Minister Marian S. Jackson

Called to preach the Gospel in 2009, Min. Jackson was licensed in 2012 at Forest Hill Baptist Church, Keysville, GA. Min. Jackson received her CCT in theology at Augusta Theological Seminary a branch of the American Baptist College, Nashville, TN and the Georgia Baptist Bible Institutes-Georgia Baptist Convention in 2015. On January 1, 2016 she transitioned to Phillip Grove Baptist Church, Waynesboro, GA where she serves at the pleasure of the pastor as Member Services Director. As Director she oversees Baptism, Member Registration, Restored & New Member Orientation (RNMO), Greeter’s Ministry, and Facility Rental.

Min. Jackson is a native of Waynesboro, GA. She is a product of the Burke County School System. She has received countless hours of Continuing Education from the University of Georgia and Georgia Department of Revenue Local Government Services. In 2012 Marian was elected by the citizens of Burke County to serve as Tax Commissioner. She is currently serving her 2nd (4 year) Term. She is a member of Constitutional Officers Association of Georgia (COAG) and Georgia Association of Tax Officials (GATO).

Min. Jackson is married to Allen Jackson (Burke County) and together they share three children, Tetric, Shelby, and Devon. They are also the proud grandparents to two, Tetric, Jr and Nyla.

Min. Jackson is a lover of people and delights in sharing God’s Word with others. She currently teaches RNMO Classes: Church Covenant, Spiritual Gifts, Salvation, and Communion and co-teaches Bible Study (Pre-schoolers).

Minister Palmer responded to the call to preach the Gospel 2006, she was licensed September 26, 2010, at the Beulah Grove Baptist Church, in Augusta, GA, Minister Palmer, attended Interdenominational Theological
Center (ITC), Local branch Augusta, GA and on May 2, 2008, she received a Certificate In Theology. Her other accomplishments and certifications includeToastmasters International Competent Communicator Certified training for Leadership Academy 2004, Teachers Academy 2003, Intercessory Prayer 2003;

In June 2015, the Holy Spirit led her back to her home church Phillip Grove Baptist Church, where she faithfully serves on the Ministerial Staff, Director of Christian Education and Prayer Warrior Ministry Head. In addition to these duties Minister Palmer teaches Bible Study, Sunday School and New Members Orientation.Her greatest joy is to impart God’s Word to God’s People while
