New To The Area or Visiting Phillip Grove for the First Time?

Planning your first visit to any church can be overwhelming. Where do I go? What is the dress code? What time does worship begin? What about my kids? What can I expect? Relax, we will do all we can to help put you and your family at ease. We want you to experience the fullness and richness of God’s grace, mercy and fellowship as well as be inspired by the worship music, teaching, preaching and the graciousness of the friendly people you will meet. Here are some answers to your questions as you prepare to make your first visit to “THE GROVE!”

How to Dress
There is no dress code at Phillip Grove, for guests and members. However, many of our church family members and ministry leaders dress in traditional “Sunday” dress, the men in dress shirts, dress slacks, and the women in suits and dresses. However, our goal is that you feel at home, welcome and comfortable during your first visit at Phillip Grove. If you’re more comfortable in blue jeans than dress pants…fine! If you prefer polo style over dress shirts…feel free! It’s about what’s on the inside that counts.

Worship Service Times and Bible Study
We offer several worship services at Phillip Grove. Sunday Worship Service at 10:00 a.m. On Wednesdays at 6:30pm we have our Corporate Prayer Service followed by Bible Study at 7pm. We also have Children’s Church and Nursery ministry available on Sunday morning during worship service

I Am Not Baptist…Can I Still Attend Phillip Grove?
Phillip Grove is a church for people of all ages, sizes, shapes and colors! You do not need to come from a Baptist background. The Bible is the true and inspired Word of God and is sufficient to lead all persons who are sincere to faith in the Lord Jesus the Christ. If you desire to know God, believe and trust in Him, and experience the best He has in store for your life, then we invite you to begin this wonderful, exciting journey of faith here at Phillip Grove.

What About My Kids?
Phillip Grove is a kid-friendly and inviting church. We are very proud of our Children’s and Youth Ministry here at “THE GROVE!” We offer a variety of ministry activities and mission projects for toddlers, children, and teens. During Sunday morning worship, our Nursery volunteers welcome infants to children aged 5 to our child-friendly nursery located in the Educational Building. And, for children ages, 5 to 12 years of age, Children’s Church is held every Sunday in a fun-filled, exciting learning environment tailored to meet their needs. In addition to our Sunday Worship, we offer Bible Based activities for children and teens through our Youth Ministry, which meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 2:00 p.m. and they are in charge of our 3rd Sunday Worship service. Phillip Grove is committed to laying the foundational blocks necessary to ensure the spiritual growth of our children and youth ministries. Children or teens do not have to be members of Phillip Grove to participate in the numerous activities and programs offered throughout the year.
